About us

We are a visual communication consultancy that has been based in Thessaloniki since 1989. Our focus is on providing clients with effective solutions for specific cases across a variety of media. We design corporate identities, 3D and motion graphics, publications, posters, books, exhibitions, websites and media installations, always accompanied by professional art direction. In 2010 we expanded our services to include strategic communication solutions and campaign planning. Lineadesign’s work has repeatedly received National Graphic Design Awards (Ε.Β.Γ.Ε.).

Petros Petridis started his education in 1999 in Computer Science at CITY College, Thessaloniki. He then moved to Athens where he received his bachelor’s degree in 3D Computer Animation and Multimedia Production from the ΑΚΤΟ College of Art & Design. In 2003 he co-founded Petros Petridis&Co. Ltd. and continued his studies at the Media School of Bournemouth University, United Kingdom. He received his master’s degree with distinction in 2005. In 2009 he merged his studio with LineaDesign, where he became a managing partner. Petros now works as an experienced 3D artist, graphic and web designer on diverse projects.

He participated at the Cyber Media Festival (EMAGIC) in 2002 and also won the prize for “Best Animation” at the Crash Fest Film Festival in 2006. Petros work for the Anairousis museum in Syros was awarded at the 11th Panhellenic Architectural Congress, where it received a commendation for “Artistic Intervention”.
  Vayia Komnou is an architect, a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with postgraduate studies in Museology - Cultural Management. Vaia has extensive experience in exhibition design, cultural management and 3d visualization. She cooperated with architecture firms in Thessaloniki and designs exhibitions for museums and galleries, such as the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, the Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki and exhibitions for the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

Vayia has acquired extensive experience in teaching creative education for kids whilst teaching school classes in museums and private schools.
  Educated originally in civil engineering, Kostas Petridis began his graphic design career in 1968 while attending the Famous Artists School (F.A.S.) of Amsterdam, where he took courses in Illustration & Design. In 1977 he co-founded design studio Grammi, one of the first graphic design agencies in Thessaloniki, Greece. In 1989 he founded LineaDesign and has since designed corporate identities, logos, publications, exhibition designs and visual communication solutions for a diverse array of clients.

Kostas participated in the exhibition “Computer Aided Art” at the 2nd European Meeting of Technology in Thessaloniki, and in 2007 at the exhibition Mapping Europe in Athens. Kosta's interest and knowledge in typography led him to write The Evolution of the Greek Scripture, an article published in the Greek magazine +Design. Lately he has been giving lectures on visual communication and typography at Aristotle University.
